SocialFlow is good on paper but in my personal experience it is clunky, doesn’t do what you want it to, and their support team doesn’t take your issues seriously. I wouldn’t recommend this if you work on tight timeframes as it has a scattergun approach to posting on Facebook. I would like to think that my experiences are due to me not having thorough training, but I am not sure if this is the case.

n a crowded landscape of scheduling software options, this particular solution stands out as a beacon of simplicity and user-friendliness. What truly sets it apart is its ability to strike a delicate balance between ease of use and content flexibility. Unlike some other platforms that may impose restrictions on content size and compromise quality during scheduling, this software manages to preserve the integrity of the content while offering an intuitive interface.

Pros
  • Unique algorithm does not just 'time' posts, it helps determine the optimal time for posts to be distributed. Its why all the major publishers like NYT, WSJ, Conde Nast, Mashable, etc. use SocialFlow to distribute its social content.
  • Dashboard gives insight into which posts perform best.
  • It's streamlined and simple and not overly or unnecessarily feature-laden.

  • Zoho Social helps us develop posts, and it facilitates the automated publishing, which is vital in sharing the content we want.
  • Besides, Zoho Social is fruitful in customer engagement plan, where the software manages different accounts, and there is free communications throughout.
  • Finally, there is social media evaluation, monitoring, and analytics, and all of them brings to us an inference that is accurate and digital.

Cons
  • Per-client customizations to differentiate themselves from competitors

  • The Calendar view displaying published posts would be a great feature. You can view published posts displayed in a list, but when scheduling and arranging posts based on a calendar, seeing upcoming posts as well as past posts can be very helpful.

I am enjoying using Zoho Social and I look forward to really unwrapping what it has to offer. I need to be able to essentially offload all my social media posting and work so that I can do the actual work of sewing clothes, which is what my business actually does. This way, I can spend a few weeks making different types of content while also sewing clothes and post the content in a way that builds a story for my business and is entertaining.

I think it provides good value for money, a streamlined, intuitive, user friendly platform, with lots of features I'm still discovering. The social media publishing is easy and effective to use. We would love to see the monitoring feature included in the basic package but for the price you can't ask much more, really

Support Rating
I give this rating as overall support for Social footprint analysis to identify and benchmark the competitor's social presence. Extraction of retrospective data from identified social channels. Complex query building with defined subsets of keywords to gauge social buzz. Analysis of historic datasets with a detailed classification that offered insights into the marketing efforts and messaging patterns.

Alternatives Considered
SocialFlow stacks up against others by : 1. Event registrations, participation and promotions, companies highlighting their sessions, speakers, and delegations of different countries drove the event-specific volumes 2. Using Twitter as the primary platform and mainly constituted mentions around registrations, participations, promotions of sessions/panels, and opinions on the same 3. Discussions around the event’s annual themes, the new ‘Davos Manifesto’ and posts expressing delight for being invited, participation confirmations, and comments on different sessions/panel promotions drove the positive coverage 4. During-Event and Post-Event periods saw companies shift their focus to highlight sessions and panel discussions aligned more toward business-driven themes

Zoho Social is more practical. It has the features we need. We just want to share content on our social media accounts and view the post-share stats. The integration process is easy, the sharing process is easy, and these are the key features we need at the moment. Also, we can manage our team and responsibilities by Zoho Social's permission system quite efficiently.

Return on Investment
  • It doesn’t post what we expect.
  • It posts things over and over again.
  • It’s not reliable for forward Planning.

  • Zoho Social allows me to "see" my messaging planning weeks into the future. I can create themes for a week or month and easily see how it performs.
  • Having all my social accounts in one place saves me time.
  • It is too early for any ROI from Zoho but the amount of content I am putting out has increased by at least 400%.
