Well suited: tracking time, making notes to share with clients, live reporting. Less so: tracking and bookkeeping - they don't market it as a bookkeeping app, though they do allow for invoicing through it. Still, my needs are such that I use a separate app for tracking receipts against a project and then invoicing clients.
Zoho Invoice is well suited for any business, regardless of size, that needs to have a way to create invoices with hourly or flat rates. It's easy to create and archive projects. It also integrates into their other tools, including Zoho Projects. Zoho is great for businesses who want to accept online payments.You can use PayPal, Stripe, and a few others. Clients can also pay via ACH. It lets you know when a payment is processing AND when it clears. I believe that it would not be well suited in instances where a company creates lots of credit notes (because from the invoice screen the credit will appear to grow, but when you check active credit notes, it is the right amount) or estimates (I can't figure out how to use this feature)
Time tracking. Zoho invoice makes it super easy to track time and hours against specific clients and specific tasks.
Unbilled / billed time reporting. Zoho Invoice gives a dashboard view of hours yet to be billed, which helps keep on top of invoicing so nothing is missed.
Reporting. Zoho Invoice offers a robust reporting module for the price point. Canned reports can be customized easily.
Invoice sending and tracking. Zoho Invoice makes it easy to create and send invoices. Invoices are easy to clone, which makes creating regular, repeatable invoices a snap.
The main area for improvement is exportability of data. It's tough to get full data out of Paymo. You can export most things in CSV format, but if you were to start with Paymo and want to switch to another project management and accounting platform, there would be substantial manual effort involved.
There also aren't as many integrations for Paymo as some of the more mainstream project management suites. This isn't necessarily Paymo's fault. It's just a function of them still being one of the "little guys." Something to be aware of before you select this platform though.
It is a complete, a bit overambitious app but with many features that are needed. I didn't need most of the features but managed to make the most of the two I was using. Also, I think it is a well-rounded app and I am considering moving some team collab there.
Ease of access of using the dashboard the buttons I mean like if it is taught in 10th I would have worked it. Simple and minimal hi give good entry to be more transparent and sharable to clients in seconds. The client also get shocked by saying it's fast.
Good! Fast, excellent, speedy responses. They always wanted to know why and how they could improve on something (good on receiving feedback, too). Not that they were much needed, but my limited experience with them is good; they were really keen to understand what the problem was really about and how they could help with it.
Similar in almost all project management aspects... Paymo seems to have a slight edge in invoicing and reporting. They are also adding new features regularly so that (in our opinion) makes the investment worth it. Customer support has also been terrific. Easy onboarding process and we found this solution the easiest to get started doing actual work with.

Zoho Invoice provides the option of giving your clients a client portal through which they have access to their own accounts and can see and print their own reports as needed. That helps to create a transparency that our clients love.
Zoho Invoice has been dependable. I have not had one issue with using the platform or its functions since I switched to it a few years ago.
