We used it to connect our two offices together. It aids in secure file transfer for remote users. Some of the 3rd party software is only allowed to run on specific IP addresses due to the license and this is a way that remote users can utilize that software without being on-site

I think the best scenario is a business trip where you are forced to connect to open networks without any protection from the administrator, such as in some airports, hotels, cafes, public squares... Thanks to TunnelBear, you can surf the net more safely. To be honest, I wouldn't use it if I had to deal with sensitive personal information or similar scenarios, as VPNs are often not fully transparent with data usage.
