Nozzle vs. SEOTesting.com

Nozzle is the right tool for any digital agency professional interested in making data-driven decisions. If keyword tracking or SEO as a whole is a part of a project, then Nozzle is a great tool to have access to. In short, if the word SEO is somewhere in the project description, then Nozzle should be listed as a required tool.

SEOTesting.com is fantastic for my specific scenario. I'm on a small marketing team where I'm currently the only SEO-focused member, and I'm just starting to ramp up our SEO efforts. I need to quickly report SEO results to my leader and team members, in a way that is visual and yet makes it easy to drill down into the data. SEOTesting.com makes that easy & even fun.

• - It is great that we can change data SERP frequency to be daily / weekly / monthly / etc to save on limits (My current tracker can’t do this)
• - LOTS of data, and many ways to visualize them
• - Customer service is efficient, you can get them on Live chat. They also have an active Slack channel, and replies are really quick

• Visualization of data
• Tracking changes to website over time
• Provides p-values for change impacts, helping you to sort out whether your "result" is just random noise

• It is hard to understand as a novice in SEO, more hover explanations would be helpful
• I do not think they have automatic reports and notifications but this would be nice to have
• Their sign in process is a bit odd, as you sign in and then get emailed a link

• SEOTesting.com is NOT all-in-one SEO tool. But what it does, it does really well.
• Rank Tracking requires to fill landing page per keyword. That doesn't make sense as the desired landing page is not always the best ranking landing page for each keyword.
• Dashboards timelines should have some options to select only the desired timeframe. Then it would be sometimes easier to look at only the last two months for example.

The account person is quick to respond, though issues reported required support of other teams with no SLA. The data is easily comprehensible and the platform is incredibly versatile. Sometimes scanning problems take weeks to diagnose and fix. The learning curve for SEOTesting.com is minimal

Nozzle is fitting in very well between my other Trackers (SERPWoo, Serpstat & Ubersuggest). As it confirms data focus and keyword ranking positions that other tools miss in some way or other, I can focus on easy picks for SERP position growth hacks then move to other tools to confirm.

I can't replace any other tool with SEOTesting.com, but SEOTesting.com has plenty of valuable features that any other tool doesn't have. I use id daily along with the other tools in my toolset.
