NEXGEN Asset Management vs. ToolCrib Application

It is very easy to use and everyone knows about it. It integrates quite easily with most everything. Our clients have not complained about it and seems to be well suited to the manufacturing sector where we work, but for small mom and pop shop it's a bit much, we would recommend a more simple product to those clients

• Preventive maintenance scheduling
• Vertical asset hierarchies by class and location
• Allows customization of asset attributes through User Defined Fields
• Allows multiple editing of work orders, service requests, and inspections to populate commonly used fields quickly.
• Offers timely and helpful support assistance.

• Am currently having issues with getting PM's to generate
• Customer service is great 75% of the time, but there are more difficult issues on the occasion that it takes me a while to hear back on, and I have to check-in

The mobile platform has improved a lot in the 5-6 years we've been involved. In my opinion, NEXGEN Asset Management has targeted making mobile devices as user-friendly and useful as possible for field users. NEXGEN University has been a great tool to educate the use of these mobile platforms.

Nexgen is much more widely use and required less upfront investment in training. it was also less costly than Upkeep. The marketing was about the same for both, but it seemed like a simple decision as one of our key people had used nexgen previously and had good things to say about it

• Decrease travel time by reviewing groups of work orders for scheduling multiple jobs at one location.
• Improved work order completion rate by giving us an effective work status review tool.
• Improved communication between all parties by having updated information in one location (on the work order).
