Kyvos Semantic Intelligence Layer vs. Visual KPI

Kyvos Insights has made it simple for us to work with all our customer data. Now, we get a clear picture of how we’re doing across locations and products, all thanks to its performant tech. It's the only tool that allowed us to explore five years of data and get answers quickly.

[Visual KPI is well suited for:] 1. Maintenance or field worker in oil & gas/chemical/ process industry mostly; machines status on the map & functionality for tracing exact location of the machines. 2. Key personnel of the site is always in move within the site/plant; useful for monitoring key performance indicators of the plant 3. KPIs to be built based on multiple data sources as well as integration with ERP tool

• Easy to integrate with existing tech stack.

• The latest user interface makes it easier to use.
• The search function helps find projects quickly.
• It covers a lot of areas of your business so there is intrinsic value to how robust it is.

• We’re able to add more dimensions and measures to our reports without performance issues. Another great advantage of Kyvos Insights was the capability to migrate our workloads to GCP.

• Deep integration is limited to OSISoft's PI AF; bit time consuming for large integration for other historians > mapping hierarchy

Kyvos has made a big difference by enabling fast data processing and interactive reporting. It has significantly reduced the time needed to gain insights and made it easier to expand our data operations without slowing down, greatly improving our efficiency.

1. At large it was successful implementation. - [Users] are empowered to find out performance measures easily - issues like machine downtime, trend analysis, location specific downtime information, roll out functionalities, up time of the machines or area, alert based on run hour of the machines/ pumps, manual data entry to capture reason code for any downtime

to be honest we used all these platform along with Tableau. Its just each of them fulfil different use cases. Kyvos Insights is more about a platform to with with big data for investigations.

Most of these products serve as the master source for managing data, but they all seem to have their own focus for what kind of data and metrics they monitor, visualize and analyze. I think Visual KPI holds its own against the competition because it serves so many purposes for so many departments at your organization.

• We’d love more customization options to adapt the platform to our specific needs. The initial setup was also a bit tricky, but once done, it runs smoothly.

• Duration to realize the benefit is less
• OpEx requirement is steady since system is very robust
• Minimum to no training required for users; VisualKPI is very intuitive
