If at any time you have a problem, they will be there to help you, and because the software is simple to use and you can rapidly become accustomed to it, I would strongly recommend it. The software helps a great deal with your requirements, and it keeps getting better over time. They provide excellent enterprise support and are able to construct extremely customized systems in response to customer requirements.

Zoho Bookings from my personal experience is best when you have a growing list of customers and need to get free of the hassle of taking written notes in your Rolodex. It's like a CRM but optimized for booking tasks. I believe it would be less suited, if you are a new business starting from scratch

Pros
  • Very flexible.
  • The different types of event and ticket options you can provide are far more advanced than some of the other booking systems available
  • The technical support was second to none and very quick in responding.

  • Online booking without hands on involvement by our team
  • Security of publishing a link for free consultations
  • Automated two-way syncing with our calendar
  • Ease of use both for us as well as our clients

Cons
  • Quite a few of our clients book several places per course date in one go. Their feedback is that they don't see anywhere where they can write the names of the course attendees. It's quite usual where the one who books the courses in Bookingbug is not the one attending the course. I would like to see this improved so that it's clear where the client can input the attendees' names.

Booking Bug meets the requirements of our business, and allows us greater time to do what we do best - dealing with clients and providing phenomenal service. Why would we change, when Booking Bug adapts so well to our needs, and their support team assist us so efficiently?!

It still needs more robust features and customization, like workflows and such. I'm confident they'll continue improving it, but some particular customization settings aren't available, in terms of triggers, content, look and feel, but it is mostly very detailed and particular. If you're ok with adapting to it, it is an excellent tool.

Usability
It would have been 10 were it not for some feedback from clients re multiple bookings.

Some of the integrations and features are harder to set up. Once everything is set up its fairly straightforward, but if like ATI you have multiple branches or departments utilizing Bookings, you would need to set up separate booking sites for each office/salesperson

A lot of things are not great as this is a new tool, but they fix it relatively quickly. They don't have a direct phone number, but Zoho support has good service overall

Alternatives Considered
I have used TidyApps. It's good, but Bookingbug has a lot more useful features. With other systems, I have no control on the setup or once courses are set up, to amend them is very cumbersome. Bookingbug provides easy and least time consuming ways to do the above. Support is reliable. I very rarely ask for assistance, but when I do the response is on time/quick and good. I feel confident that I'm talking to a person who has good attitude to customer support and who knows what they're talking about. I've always been happy with the response to my queries from the beginning. With other systems I've used in the past, support was not quite so easy to get.

I found the integration with the two above is great if you're a Google Calendar user which we are not. While with Zoho Calendar we can have two way integration with Google Calendar there wasn't a need to do so. With Zoho Bookings which also integrates with Google Calendar we didn't have to worry about that as the integration with our Zoho Calendar was virtually automatic. There was also the cost consideration as the two above have a free version it was limited and didn't have all the bells and whistles we needed. Zoho Bookings provide us with everything from a single sign-on web browser and mobile app

Scalability
It's the only system I've come across where courses can be added very easily. If I had 10 courses to begin with, and suddenly I needed to set up 100 or more, I can do this in a very short period of time. All redundant steps have been eliminated by the clever design.

Return on Investment
  • The fact that clients can book themselves online has reduced pressure on our staff and allowed them to book out of office hours.
  • Our clinic staff have more data for each client, and thus are better prepared for each appointment.
  • Moving and amending appointments has significantly increased employee efficiency, allowing the team greater time to deal with other items.
  • Customers are sent important information prior to their appointments, and customer satisfaction regarding the whole process is greatly improved.

  • Zoho Bookings does not have either a positive or negative ROI as this is included with our Zoho Suite of features and we have enough licenses currently for anyone who would need access.
  • It would be a negative ROI if we needed to purchase additional licenses solely for our engineers or the entire organization, most of who do not need access to any of the other Zoho Suite of features.
