Demand Management
Comparison of Demand Management features of Product A and Product B
It is good in integrating with multiple 3rd party service providers to create a single source of truth. It does not have user friendly GUI that delays in getting the information required by the user. Any new requirements always need investment and time to develop. It allows user to create report template and schedule reports to personal email that help to save time.
Its core capabilities are grate within the manufacturing and distribution, when it comes to its grid components it is very strong, although exporting everything to excel was critical and it was fixed by introducing a new way "Export to Datalake" and leverages the ERP data. It has broad range of capabilities, integration patterns and modules. Singles instance for solution are good.
GUI is not as user friendly as it should be, and a training is required
Filtering of shipments are not easy and intuitive to user, and it is a bit problematic to find details when a limited information is available to search
Creating new methodology of report template require new development which require investment
It is better in integration with 3rd party service providers and quick turn around time and dedicated error resolution in receiving the data. We had inhouse SME from Infor Nexus team which allows quick development cycle and faster implementation. It allows visibility of milestones which is not available in SAP TM.
D365 SCM is good for the SMB market. has very good UX and integrates with Microsoft products well. It is easier to learn D365 compared to SAP SCM. It can be implemented very fast compared to SAP SCM. Resources to implement D365 are available in the market easily compared to SAP SCM.
