Sales hub is an excellent tool for a sales professional, probably even the best tool available in the industry without a doubt. However it could be much less convenient for outside sales reps that need to consistently meet people in person, it has some features to cater to these reps but they aren't as robust as the ones designed for inside sales reps.
Salesmate gives us everything we need as a small business, with a clear interface, and can adapt to any business. If I was being ultra picky, I would perhaps suggest the ability to remove or hide certain modules not applicable to our niche, e.g., we are a B2C business, so the company module is not really useable for us, but this is not a negative by any means.
I find the interface to be a bit unorganized and sometimes the information added about projects looks clogged which sometimes makes it difficult to access specific information.
Sometimes we have to deal with different currencies because we have clients all over the world but the exchange rate tool is not always accurate, causing us to slow down our work.
The search feature can be buggy and does not allow for highlighted text to be typed on. You must clear the box or hit backspace before typing. The only app in my life that does this.
The dashboard button is pointless if it still makes you choose between legacy or classic.
HubSpot sales has allowed all of our teams company-wide to communicate and keep all of our information secure and organized. We are able to save time and money by using this platform, and we could not imagine turning back to the way things used to be done. We are so thankful for HubSpot Sales!

Since we launched HubSpot Sales Hub into our organisation's tech stack, we've experienced a smooth transition and implementation process for those using this solution. The ease of use and the interface experience is amazing and that was a main priority for us in the purchasing phase. So far, we've been nothing but very happy with the support, implementation, and ongoing development of our sales team adapting to the solution. Highly recommend it for usability and functionality!
The platform is incredibly robust while maintaining a clean appearance. This allows you to see exactly what you need at any given time without being overwhelmed. The ability to customize your dashboard easily allows you to see the information that is most relevant to your operations and needs.
Usually pretty responsible and friendly and have had my questions circled back on. However, they haven't been able to answer several of the more in-depth questions I have had, but those questions may have been way too nuanced and specific so I would give the benefit of the doubt.
Fantastic - always reply in a reasonable amount of time, usually with a simple fix. The support website is very handy, but often you will likely have 'niche' questions - to which the team are all to happy to help with. For larger issues, we have had to lodge tickets with tech, but to date, every issue we have had has been resolved. Very happy with the support and service.
It was not only SUPER easy to implement, we had some amazing support from HubSpot. They scheduled a call to go over each individual tool with our team and provided guidance and best practices plus answered any questions are new users had. It was wonderful and really helped them get started confidently
No other product holds a candle to what HubSpot Sales HUB can do. The usability, feature support, adaptability, scalability, and expandability; no compare. Other solutions are either too specialized, or too out-dated.
I was using the free version of Hubspot, which was extremely limiting. If I wanted to go ahead and unlock a simple feature, which every other CRM offered, my price would shoot up to hundreds of dollars a month for no reason, as they force you to unlock “all the features” not just the ones you need. Salesmate is much better, as you can choose which features you want, and don’t want.
HubSpot Sales Hub made my day more organized and productive, allowing me to make 100 phone calls a day at the same time that it took me to make 20 phone calls a day.
I am able to create a custom quote for a client in less than 5 minutes with the plug and play capabilities.
HubSpot Sales Hub tells me what I need to do for the day so that I don't have to think about it.
