Emptoris vs. INHUBBER

Any company who needs more monitoring and has frequent contract language changes due to negotiations with parties can utilize the Emptoris Contracts software to a greater extent. Key Business Questions that are answered on Emptoris:

Many more.. There are good amount of features on Emptoris that can be used, which improves the business process cycle times.

Organize large volumes of contracts with attachments. Reduce the number of copies and versions of documents. To keep documents in a location that is searchable and provides an overview of what the contracts are intended to accomplish. To stay up to date on the terms and conditions of documents and take advantage of opportunities such as volume discounts accordingly.

• It is also a single platform to see all your P50's, P2P and order in one place (statement of work)
• It a good tool for managing projects.

• It tracks contract expiration dates, renewal periods, etc.
• Automates and manages approvals and helps maintain order in contract management.
• Keeps contracts in a secure location and supports version control.
• Saves time by extracting useful data, e.g. deadlines.
• Provides a very handy reminder management system.

• The only thing I would like to see is that is can hold mutiple attachments under the language tab.
• I would like to see a function that allows all credentialing materials to be attached to Emptoris and sent to the next step as one complete package.

• If you just want to quickly look something up the tool can feel a bit overloaded like it's trying to do everything at once.

There are a lot of new, exciting products coming out in every field and I believe that there is always something better right over the horizon. If it was my choice, I would review my usage of Emptoris and other software periodically to make sure I'm using the most efficient software possible.

The platform helps you to get your things done. It is designed the way so that user spends as little time as possible on dealing with low-value activities like labeling, structuring, signing and focuses more on the things that will determine how much you will get out of the contract, like setting reminders for the deliverables, extracting the key information, etc.

The above rating for the overall support from Emptoris is for their product / product support, roll out training and refresher training / ongoing training, which is not only good but superior. There is no major or reconizable bad review that can be given to Emptoris at this point in time, from where is stands.

It's easy to understand and to use, though I still recommend asking a colleague or contacting support to get a quick tutorial for first-time users.

We eventually selected Apttus because of its close ties to Salesforce and quick implementation process. We were able to get the application installed and live in just a few weeks. For our purposes, it was a much better fit for us to generate and store contracts for our company without having to force a link to procurement.
