ControlUp is great on seeing what an end user is doing in a Citrix session and can help figure out why a user might be having an issue. The console also offers a bunch of tools on the right click menu. Things from making registry changes on a remote machine to network tools like ping, nslookup and other troubleshooting tools

It is used in our company for monitoring and analysing purpose. It has so many other options like SSH/alerts and click automation is adding so much to this software. Also it has lots of features which is so overwhelming sometimes but useful. It is inappropriate when you try to use plug in scripts in Germain APM.

Cons
  • ControlUp has a quick and easy way to submit feature request but I with they had a public list of things being proposed that the community could vote on to show what is important to those of us that use the product.
  • The console is very memory intensive. They are working on a web version but I am not sure how long it will be before they get all the same features in the new web console.

In four years of using SysTrack I never once felt like I knew where to go in investigate a problem. ControlUp is much easier to use and provide great information.

Germain APM and Sauce Labs can be used for different purposes and are well-suited for teams with specific needs. We were looking for a platform that is easy to use, has low barriers to entry, and offers a lot of customization, flexibility, and integration options then after researching we started using the Germain APM software. Because it has so much specifications.
