ConnectAndSell is incredibly helpful when it comes to getting people on the phone. In the world of sales, dials and connects are king and connect and sell works great to hit these two points. The ability to create lists is great, however, I would like to see more customizable options available for end-users to play around with.

Flockjay is particularly appropriate for training new insurance agents (especially when it comes to learning from real examples through recordings of the best calls!) creating structured learning paths for insurance products and negotiation skills, etc. flockjay is perhaps less appropriate for some when you need a simple platform just to share basic documents or the like, such as a CRM

Pros
  • The amazing piece is that you can leave a voicemail with each of those calls and really only need to focus in on the calls that patch through.
  • One thing that has been absolutely amazing about Connect and Sell is the amount of call volume you can get in a single day. We used to start out by having 40 calls a day to now exceeding 200 calls going out.
  • It's been a product that we weren't sure of the business impact but we've already seen results from producing more conversations and being able to follow up with greater ease.

  • I can appreciate the level of detail available in the consumption reports to allow me to validate progress per learner
  • The platform is user-friendly, and most of my participants feel that it is simple to navigate to find the assets they are searching for in the just-in-time training
  • The exam functionality and visibility for my managers to partner with me in the onboarding experience is key.

Cons
  • ConnectAndSell sounds way too robotic when the prospect answers the phone
  • The implementation team is terrible. Donny was a horrible leader and did a terrible job of getting us going
  • They have way too many bugs they need to fix at this point

  • Some of the canned display features would be great to turn off (side bars like the related content take up screen space in hubs or pages that really need a full screen view)

For the right reps who are good at talking to prospects who aren't expecting their call, this is a no brainer.

Flockjay is great for sales training and onboarding, offering many effective features that boost performance. However, it could be even better with more customization, a friendlier interface, better integrations, and improved mobile access. Fixing these areas would make Flockjay an even more valuable tool for our sales team. Overall, it’s a strong solution with room for growth.

Support Rating
I have had a few support calls with their people. They are totally reachable and helpful, sharing screens, controlling my screen, showing why things happened, not just correcting it. If you have an issue with the software, let them help. They are there for you, and they are friendly, accessible, and happy to do their job.

Alternatives Considered
Lightning has a better success rate for connecting (in terms of it takes less time to connect using Lightning) but Lightning was definitely using shadier connecting tactics and also required the user to be focused intently when it connected you with a prospect. When using lightning, you needed to immediately speak and know your talking points while ConnectAndSell gives you better time to prepare.
