For my role as a recruiter, this tool is more than sufficient. I am able to quickly draft multiple offer letters, request approval from our legal team, then share directly with candidates to sign. This provides a great, organized candidate experience. I don't necessarily have an idea of a scenario where it would be less appropriate.

I would greatly recommend Consensus to a colleague or organization that has a sales team and focuses a lot of time on hosting demos. This would bring a seamless experience to that team and open up the doors to utilize resources in areas that bring in more revenue. Thanks again

Pros
  • Templates are easy to create and utilize.
  • Concord has its internal e-signature tool.
  • Concord can group by template, active, in progress, etc. and color codes the same.

  • The ability to tailor demos and demoboards to show various functionality of the product.
  • We appreciate the features Consensus has to customize demos in various forms.
  • The customer service and post-sales trainings the Consensus team has held for our company have been extremely beneficial. I personally appreciated learning how demos are better received when they're not 'perfect'

Cons
  • User management has been and still is, a pain point for us. We operate over a dozen entities and for the most part, anyone with access to Concord on our team has the same permissions across all entities. We must manage users one-by-one so onboarding + offboarding can be tedious.
  • The analytics are basic. I wish we could slice and dice and say "Show me only contracts tagged with X tag".

  • The front-end UX could be improved to look and feel more like a mature SaaS solution
  • There's a limited amount of help resources to assist throughout the video building process
  • I'd like to see more integrations with broader SaaS solutions to unlock more use cases (i.e. Engaging in group formats, long-form webinars, etc)

Consensus has been a valuable and vital sales tool at every stage of our sales cycle. In the very early stages of prospect education, you can send videos to get them familiar and up to speed with our product without a solution consultant's involvement. It is also a very powerful tool at the later stages of the sales cycle, with the ability to tailor demos and intro videos and record exec alignment itro videos, which we have had great success with

Usability
Concord is extremely user friendly and saves me so much time! How else would I be able to manage all of the contracts for 9 different agencies all by myself?!?

Firstly, the ability to sort, organize, and classify the demo libraries is a real advantage for managing read and write permissions for our users who are in different divisions across various countries. Then, the easy creation of demoboards is a plus, and it has become even better since we can now associate tours with them

Support Rating
I gave it a five because it was the closest to a neutral response. I have not had issues with Concord and have not had a reason to contact support, so I don't have an accurate opinion here. From my conversations with our legal team, it seems they have been able to work with the support team at Concord to get any potential issues resolved in a timely manner.

Alternatives Considered
Concord is more user friendly and gives the user the power to change settings, change workflows, and customize to meet their own needs without having to wait on customer service or support to make the changes for them. In fact, I was able to do most of our implementation myself just the way I wanted it, and it was easy! There aren't any hidden costs or fees- you simply pay for the number of licenses you need and get all the support you need for free (if you ever need it!). And by the way, the storage is unlimited so there are no worries about maxing out on how many contract or documents you can have!

None. Consensus has been my first exposure to long-form demo/content delivered besides using zoom to record a demo and then sharing a link with my prospect. Consensus has changed the game in regards to how I engage with prospects from a product perspective
