Like I said, it's well for outdoor environments they hold up pretty well in the harsh Georgia heat. We use a number of them indoors as well. Don't really have any negative comments about the product.

Alternatives Considered
Well, I actually like the IE3300s and think that even though they are pricey for what they are, they are still a good product. SEA how ever is a steaming pile of garbage and the fact that it is connected to Cisco brings down my trust in the rest of my environment. The differences between these products are completely night and day.

Scalability
The expansion modules really allow us to use these switches for different scenarios in the way that we need them. Sometimes we need a lot of extra ports. Sometimes we need some extra ports, but also extra fiber ports to bring the network to other areas.
