AutoCAD Web vs. Deltek Project Information Management

We utilize the software for remote access to our projects. It has come in the handiest when an unexpected issue arises and we don't have the right project files on our laptop. We can easily access our information from the cloud. If you need to download/print to a PDF file, this software is not able to do this.

We liked the automation associated with filing e-mails. The ability to search within the body of documents within the platform was also a great feature and very powerful. Unfortunately, the program often hung up and didn't work and we were not aware that it was not functioning until several days went by. As far as the document management piece of the program, our staff found it very clumsy and burdensome. That resulted in them not using the system the way it was intended.

This is so useful so we would like to keep renewing as Autocad 360 does. In fact we are very optimistic about the tools that come in every renewal because we will then have even more features available.

I selected AutoCAD 360 because I had no idea how to work on in-house designs, plans, and geographic spaces. I invested part of the time in this innovative tool and I keep using it to have a clear idea of the materials that I should use in the different projects that I evaluate.

When we purchased Deltek PIM we were told that it integrated well with Deltek Vision; however; once we implemented the program we found out that it was only a one-way flow of information. Also Deltek kept turning off various functionality within the program that would have allowed for better integration between the programs

• AutoCAD 360 has saved a tremendous amount of time in file sharing and reviewing files. I know I'm getting repetitive, but having such a small convenience like this honestly saves so much time, and makes life so much easier.
