Accounting Seed vs. WinMan ERP Software

I wouldn’t recommend Accounting Seed to enterprise companies. However, Accounting Seed is the best cloud accounting tool for small and medium-sized companies that are yearning to automate accounts payable and receivable, inventory management, and invoice customization in one integrated platform.

Winman ERP is well suited to our business and we have not felt the need to look further. The great strength for us is the MRP facility but each business is unique and must make it's own assessment. The accounting side just works - nothing to add here.

• MRP - our inventory forecasting is done within Winman using the MRP facility. This allows us to place timely orders with our suppliers.
• Inventory transfers and value uplifts (to reflect actual landed cost) are simply catered for and fully integrated into the accounting system.
• Integration with our website ensures that accurate data flows throughout the whole process.

• Custom reporting seems cumbersome, but it could just be that we need better instructions, more examples, maybe some more canned reports. My company needs the ability to compare multiple years, and more than one budget in a report - we start with an approved board budget and then we reproject each quarter.
• Non profits need to print financials by restriction level - this has also been very awkward - all the data is there but I have to piece it together in an excel spreadsheet every time I want it.
• In general, the materials needed for non profits is not as accessible as it could be.

• Having used Winman ERP for a long time now it fully suits our needs.

It always works well. We've never had programming issues. Never. It is easy to customize. The system can grow with you as your business grows and changes. Being cloud-based you can work from anywhere. It is intuitive. You have all the features of Salesforce, like workflows, that work perfectly in Accounting Seed. Having that full integration with Salesforce allows you to see all our data in one platform

We seldom have had to use their support but when we have, they have been responsive and actually were able to answer our questions in a simple, nontech language. You don't have to be a programmer to talk to them!

My few queries are answered promptly.

As with any business project, a clear plan with clearly defined outcomes is key.

Honestly, Accounting Seed was the only one I focused on when looking to switch from our existing program. It showed in the partner app store and stated it was created native to SalesForce. As I read through it's capabilities, cost, etc., I knew it was the right choice.

Having used Winman ERP for many years through various iterations we have not felt the need to look elsewhere

• Business users save time sending payments to suppliers and reimbursing employees since it is just by one click.
• The three-way POS match ensures that figures match on orders and invoices before paying suppliers.
• Capturing data on reports that are not submitted, approval times, and policy exceptions.
• Expense management and time tracking enable us to view the exact time taken to complete projects and the exact amount that should be paid.

• The key thing is to be able to do more with less people, removing as much repetitive work as possible.
• More automation allows us to grow the business whilst being able to concentrate on core competencies that cannot be automated such as product development, branding and marketing.
• Inventory planning is simplified through the use of MRP. Top level skus are readily converted into POs for timely component procurement which means we have the best opportunity to fill sales orders.
