Overall Satisfaction with Vena

Departmental- Camping Operations. Vena solves our financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis needs. It has revolutionized the way we interact with finances and has driven management decision-making. Cannot imagine managing operations without it. The Excel interface changes the game regarding flexibility. It was this customizable adaptation that enabled us to navigate through COVID, making on the fly decisions as they arose.

Vena is much more flexible than Adaptive. We deeply evaluated Adaptive, looking at database structures, workflows, user interfaces, reporting. While Adaptive is strong in some areas (predictive forecasting using AI etc..) it was not able to meet our needs with complex business processes. Vena's Excel base is familiar to all users, bringing comfort to them when interfacing with finances.

Vena is well suited to medium to large-sized organizations with disparate users needing access to financial data. The system has fostered collaboration in our daily work. It has driven decision-making by providing timely, accurate information that is interactive. Price-wise, it may be difficult for small organizations to justify. Shines brightest where lots of users are needed.

Vena Solutions Attributes

We use Vena support on a regular basis. They are generally responsive, within 24-48 hours depending on the issue. I have noticed they are quick to elevate technical issues or questions when warranted. This is good as we are power users and we often need deeper tech answers. We recently upgraded to a higher service tier and are enjoying the benefits of a dedicated team that guides our organization.
The website is easy for our end users to follow. The tasks are clear and can be customized as need be. Everyone in our organization is familiar with Excel and other Microsoft products, so they feel at home using it. From an administrator perspective, things are pretty intuitive. I'd certainly say it's easy to use.
