Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform Foundation

Backup to Tape..Backup complete VM to different locations. Sometimes difficulties to restore AD Objects

Pros

  • restoring sql-database is simple
  • restoring quite fast
  • restoring sharepoint is simple

Cons

  • every end points like replication consoles require updates if B&A upgradated
  • it should be always backwards compatible

  • actually positive because you invest for software but it saves a lot time to manage
  • restore and usage is simple
  • you dont have learn a lot things to manage
it is really fast to backup and restore. You can trust vm restore
