Veeam Backup & Replication

Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

Getting data for our current VMs/Servers and making sure that we get visibility into backup state, what is being backed up, schedules, etc. This also includes application level backups such as for databases and core tools that are used for business data flows.

Pros

  • Single Platfom
  • All data in one lens
  • Strong tool for management

Cons

  • Missing some functions
  • Missing integrations
  • Proxmox support (limited)
  • This is more of a failsafe
  • Hasnt been needed in env yet
  • High ROI as it protects our data from loss
