Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
To keep a constant and good local backup of our data and running scans to ensure it remains good. To continue to help protect against data lost due to client accidental deletion or ransomware. The scope covers from physical servers to VM servers, easily backing them all up and alerting me if anything happens. Veeam Data Platform makes it very easy to manage all of this.
Pros
- Back up data at its schedule time
- Checking data for any corruption or viruses
- making it easy to backup data to off site sources like tapes.
Cons
- More lightweight software so it isn't as heavy
- Able to email send a failed error log right to Veeam Data Platform and make a case
- Condense menu options
- It has help us restore from ransomware
- It has led to some data loss
- It protects all of our services.
