Veeam Backup & Replication

Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

It backs up our local servers of VMs and files. It also backs it up into azure for immutable backups.

Pros

  • Backup servers
  • Backup files
  • Easy to deploy

Cons

  • Needs better information tutorials
  • Better suggesting for equipment
  • So far azure backup is more expensive then predicted
  • It messes up snapshots often
Datto was handled through a third party so I didn't get to stay experience it.

If you don't have an IT staff I wouldn't suggest Veeam.
