Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
Veeam Data Platform is used as my primary backup utility. I use it across all of my servers, whether Windows or Linux in a VMWare environment. It allows me to encrypt my backups, duplicate my data and connect to cloud providers. I've been using this platform for over 10 years now, they are continuously improving the product.
Pros
- Integrate with VMWare
- Encrypt backups
- User interface is easy
Cons
- Support isn't great
- They have been trying to get rid of perpetually licensing in favor of billing more for subscriptions
- The product consumes a lot of system resources
