Veeam is leveraged as a disaster recovery tool primarily for VMWare. I've also used Veeam to recover lost files and folders.
Pros
- Veeam file/folder instant recovery.
- On-prem Disaster Recovery of VMWare server instances.
- Veeam also helps with Off-Prem backups.
Cons
- At this time the platform performs everything I need in my environment.
- On numerous occasions, the backup has helped me restore files quickly and efficiently.
- The product has helped me tabletop DR processes from local backups.
- The product has helped me tabletop DR processes from remote backups.
I'm a Veeam guy. The best and only VMWare backup tools I've used have been Veeam products.
