Backup of critical business technological systems like phone systems, data and application services, end-user workstations, etc.

Pros

  • Reliable and accurate bare-metal backups
  • Fast recovery of whole computers in case of corruption due to failures in the OS
  • Quick browsing and restore of backed up files

Cons

  • Getting started
  • Setup of backup repositories unless you're on a domain environment
  • License is expensive and you have to add the cost of cloud storage

It is good to perform an image backup of application and data servers that are virtualized. The data being backed up is accurate, so you do not run into the issue that you think a backup is truthful; then, the backup contained all data which is useless for your customer. The restoration process is pretty fast.
