Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

Veeam is useed on premise for day to day backup operations and also for replicating for DR purposes.

Pros

  • Ease of Use
  • Quick recover
  • Cloud backup
  • 365 backup

Cons

  • Dated interface
  • Sometimes overly complicated GUI
  • More integration with the cloud outside of Aws etc

  • Piece of mind that data is protected
  • Ability to revert changes
  • Ability to restore files lightning quick
This is great for a business that wants to protect itself ! The system is very easy to use and have backups and replications going very quickly. I wouldnt say any scenario would be inappropriate as smaller businesses could use the community edition which again helps with costs, its a vital piece of software and everyone should be encouraged to use it!
