Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I currently use Veeam to supplement our backup environment and archive VMs as a backup to another product. Veeam provides a more intuitive backup interface and the gzip compression saves a ton of space on our secondary backup server. Our other product does not offer the same level of compression and lacks features.

Really great product to create base VMs for long-term storage. The free community edition works well for a small office environment that has a low budget and small IT infostructure.
