Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Veeam to back up all of our VMs for archiving and for disaster recovery. We can also use it at a more granular level and restore even singular files on a machine, or create a second copy of a machine to do a test with instead of trying it on the production server.

Likelihood to Recommend

This software is strongest when used for backing up VMs, though it also works well enough on storage. It also has some great partners for taking those backups and copying them to the cloud for increased DR capabilities. Tech support is responsive and thorough when helping to resolve issues with the software or the processes.
