Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Veeam Backup and Replication is used to back up our entire virtual infrastructure and a handful of physical servers using the Veeam Agent. With Veeam's application awareness we are able to quickly restore individual items instead of full servers. We also use the Lab functionality to perform quarterly restore testing to confirm the backups are reliable.

Evaluating Veeam Backup & Replication and Competitors
Yes - We replaced Avamar as our backup solution. Avamar was running on a costly datadomain that was aging and Avamar in general was keeping up with the latest trends in backup solutions.

Veeam's application awareness made it very appealing. Also being able to restore individual files or databases greatly helped efficiencies.
Today there are more modern backup solutions available to test. We would look at the big (Veeam, Rubrik, and Cohesity) taking into consideration ransomeware and also DR solutions.
