Veeam is more than a business solution. It keeps my memories safe and sound.
Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
I have an elaborate test lab at home for design projects and studying for various certifications. I installed a HP Server with VMWare for learning Cisco, VMware, Linux, etc. I have 8 VMs for Cisco Virtual lab, two Word Press servers for my web sites including my family sites. DNS, DHCP, Syslog, Files/Programming, a database server all in Ubuntu 20.04.1. I use LTO3 and LTO4 tape drives to back them up. VEEAM Community has been great. It is easy to use. Quick to recover the VMs. It doesn't have issues.
I just wish they had an unlimited $70 a year community version so I could back up my wife and children's laptops.

Pros
- Quick to install
- Easy to use
- Quick to recover the VMs
- Good email support for community
- A decent forum
Cons
- A $70 unlimited community version (Home Version). Many homes have more than 10 laptops and home servers that they would back up.
- It protects my memories. Remembering every trip with my late parents, wife, children, and siblings. All over the Caribbean and Europe and around the USA.
- It allows me to quickly recover VMs for my studying
- Veeam needs to expand from just business but into families and homes.
