Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Backup is a major factor on the network side and having a solid product is very important. We had a split setup where some older and physical servers used our existing software and the newer stuff used Veeam. Well, that's a good way to do an A/B comparison and because of that, we've slowly moved everything over to Veeam because of how much better it runs.

Return on Investment

IT is more confident with their backups after using Veeam.
Higher-ups are satisfied that we're safe in the event a restore is needed.
Saving time than when we were using less optimized backup solutions.

Likelihood to Recommend

Highly recommended. Veeam is easy to use (once it's all setup) and [provides] fast backups and restores. Besides some improvement in the cloud backup options and setup, I think this is an easy recommendation to all departments needing backup solutions for their expanding list of VM's. It can do physical as well, but it's definitely designed for VMs.
