Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

It's being used to backup 95% of our infrastructure and solves the storage-related issues we were running into with its deduplication.

Pros

  • Great success rate on backups.
  • Easy restores.
  • Easy to setup a job.

Cons

  • Tapes.
  • Ease of lab setup.
  • With the ease of restores they've shifted to a lower tear of support to do them.
  • Less monitoring of jobs is needed with the success rate of them.
The ease of use just makes life easier.
We use VMware and haven't had issues with backups at all since migrating to Veeam.
