Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

We use Veeam to backup all of our Virtual Machines / servers through VMware. This is also used to restore any VMs or potential files that may have been removed in error. We have set up daily, weekly and monthly jobs to 2 different repositories in case of any system failures, etc.

  • User interface
  • Better explanation on events
  • With this software we have been able to remove the tape backup library
  • Have been able to reduce the hardware footprint in our infrastructure
Veeam is easier to use. The interface is more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
  • Appropriate for backups and recovery of local systems
  • Not so much for cloud systems.
