Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Jaspersoft

Pros

  • Supports variety of data sources
  • Ad-hoc functionality is above average

Cons

  • For submitted improvements it's difficult to get visibility on when they are planned for release
At the moment of evaluation, it looked like Jasper would be able to cope with our data model. This was achieved with product customization. Visualizations are largely the same.
In general, it provides good functionality, bu in our case we need to pass a lot of additional data for externally authenticated users. That creates a lot of technical challenges.
