Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

We use it for remote access for employees who are working from home. Particularly through the pandemic, this was vital to maintaining business continuity. We occasionally use it to view/access the PCs of employees working from home for tech support purposes for instance where an employee needs help in using a new product.

Pros

  • Easy access from home
  • Simple to use
  • Easy access to other employees PCs when help is needed
  • Easy to set up

Cons

  • Sometimes the updates are slow and cause issues with our systems crashing
  • Occasional issues getting two monitors to work successfully
  • Some difficulty in adding a new device if the employee is trying to set up from the office and their laptop is at home
  • Allowed us to continue smooth working through the pandemic
  • Easily allowed us to add additional users mid- year as required
  • Allows employees with childcare issues to work from home in an emergency saving us from paying sick pay
I've not had a need to deal with support other than with someone at the accounts department who was very helpful. We had an issue as we didn't have auto-renew on initially and we did not get a notification that the service was terminating. This was resolved quickly by the accounts department allowing us to carry on with the day.
Yes - We previously used a product called Logmein. We did enjoy using it but had issues with the fact that we use two monitors both in the office and remotely. There were issues where we needed to have all the office monitors left on all the time. We found that Splashtop was a much quicker and more cost effective option for our business.

Perfect for employees working from home who need to remote into the office server/PC, this was a huge benefit during the covid 19 pandemic and allowed us to maintain business continuity. This allowed us to continue to provide excellent service to our clients. It allows me to work from the office in the morning and quickly switch to working remotely without logging out of my office PC.
