Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

Splashtop's remote access is used when we need to work remotely from home. It was mostly used during the pandemic when we had stay at home orders. Recently, I use it to access my work computer when needed after regular work hours. The remote access addresses problems of not being able to physically be in the office.

Pros

Cons

  • Quality of streaming is lagging and grainy at times
  • Adjustment of resolution is not very good sometimes
  • The Splashtop Personal is not very user friendly at times on desktop
  • Being able to meet important deadlines for civil cases and real estate transactions.
  • Being able to continue generating revenue while the office was physically closed.
  • Being able to deliver to clients whatever they needed while working from home.
I would sometimes have connectivity issues and it would log me off the remote. I would contact IT to help resolve my issued and was connected within minutes to an IT representative. They would access my computer and would usually be able to resolve the issues in under an hour. They were always very friendly, helpful and would suggest settings to prevent it from happening again.
Yes - We had to replace TeamViewer because the cost was too high and we found that Splashtop had the same features at a fraction of the cost.

Splashtop is well suited to remote access work computer when you are not able to be there physically. It makes working from home much easier and great when you have work needed after regular work hours.
