Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

I use Splashtop to remote access to my work computers when I am away from my office. It has been a key tool to remote access in and continue my data conversion software through the night and when I am away.

Pros

  • Secure remote access - two step authentication
  • Ease of tools available when I am accessing remote computers
  • No issues with lag time

Cons

  • More options on how to do two step authentication. Now I use the Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Well worth the cost to save me the time and expense to run back to the office to complete data conversion software tasks that just require a few steps.
Connecting is always a bit of a challenge when it has been awhile since I last connected, but that is not a negative. Rather, it is a positive because it gives me the confidence that the connection to my computers will not be easily hacked since it requires two step authentication. The Microsoft Authenticator is what usually slows me down. But honestly, that is more about me the user than the software.
Yes - I forgot what I was using, but the price point after the "introductory" price was too high.

I looked into a lot of remote access software solutions and Splashtop does a fantastic job providing the remote access software at an excellent price point. Other more mainstream software solutions were very expensive and since I only remote access rarely, I did not want a high priced solution.
