Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

Splashtop is used primarily for situations where the VPN isn't available. It is used primarily by me to remotely perform the company's accounting function off hours.

Pros

  • Easy login
  • Great user interface
  • Great connectivity

Cons

  • Remote printing
  • Monitor sizing is a bit complex
  • Remote speaker use
  • No real ROI on business objectives
  • Huge time saver for me, which does represent a real return
I have to be neutral on this point. The application is very easy to set up and use, and therefore, there was no support required.
Yes - LogMeIn was being used by my office fairly regularly. Their pricing went up dramatically, and I started looking for a more reasonable solution which led me to Splashtop.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Google App Engine
I have used other programs such as LogMeIn, Go To My PC, and Team Viewer and all of them had similar shortcomings such as remote printing and remote speakers. Splashtop does as good a job, or better than the others for a fraction of the cost.
