Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

I live and work in Mexico and access our machines in Australia. We also use it for tech support for our customers. It is fast and reliable for us to use.

Pros

  • Remote access in a different country
  • Accessing my workstation from an iPad
  • Customer support for our clients

Cons

  • I wish we could have concurrent logins for at least a brief time to help with debugging.
  • It's a useful tool in our arsenal...I can't put a value on it.
Have not had to contact support -- which is a great thing! It just works.

For us, Splashtop is vastly superior to Team Viewer. I find it useful for our situations. You are, of course, limited by the network connection so things like streaming a movie on remote computer isn't great -- but it is possible to at least see and scroll through.
