Overall Satisfaction with SAP Build

We use SAP Build Apps to build prototypes for possible app development requirements.

Pros

  • It can be used to develop desktop, web-based, and mobile applications
  • Its a no code tool so requires no programming skills
  • It provides an unified development experience allowing us to build apps faster and automate processes efficiently

Cons

  • It is not possible to create SAPUI5/Fiori like app prototypes
  • Sometimes not suitable for very complex requirements
  • Not available on BTP Free Trial account
  • Lower costs for development and automation
  • Very easy to use
  • Integrates existing applications with pre-built APIs, components, and templates for SAP and non-SAP applications
Because it is very easy to use and understand.
Mendix and Neptune also provides platform when apps can be created efficiently without have any prior programming skills but SAP Build Process Automation is where SAP excels.

It is well suited for building apps quickly with minimum coding skills and have scenarios where we can bring SAP Build Apps (formerly SAP AppGyver), SAP Build Process Automation (formerly SAP Process Automation), and SAP Build Work Zone (formerly SAP Work Zone) together.
It is less appropriate when we would like to build SAP Fiori like applications.
