To provide a persistent always on platform for container environments. This allows for consistent replicated presentation of applications for the enterprise.

Pros

Application uptime.
Load balancing.
Developer access

Cons

Storage drivers. Very difficult.
Error descriptions often cryptic.
Hard to trace relations.

Return on Investment

Improvement to dev access
Great uptime for applications
Once configured remains consistent

Performance

So far we remain happy with the product and it does operate as designed. However it been a massive learning curve and we can't open to junior admins.

Alternatives Considered

N/A. Unable to locate in search box.

Tried kubernetes. Which was more a framework than platform.

Sso integration is a vast improvement enabled by Red Hat OpenShift and helps internal and external apps.

Less so with things needing readwritemany storage. Not good for database loads as well.
