Procore allows you to manage your projects how you want to.
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are the general contractor on a construction project and the OPM for the project set up, coordinates, and updates Procore for the project. We are currently only using Procore on this one project. Procore helps with document management, distribution, and for record purposing throughout the project. The program also allows access to project files at any time, from anywhere.
Pros
- Keep a record of project documents that is accessible to all users.
- Allows for easy document transfer and review.
- Can be tailored to the needs of the specific project.
Cons
- Allow for correspondence to be sent to address not part of the procore project team.
- Procore could have standard templates for a construction project that could be then modified for the project's specific needs, rather than having to build from scratch.
- Consolidate notifications from procore - 1 message daily vs. a message for every update.
- Allows for tracking and backup
- Ease of distribution
- Access to project documents from anywhere with internet or mobile access
Procore has similar attributes to other construction or project management programs, with file transfer, record keeping, processing and approval of documents, etc. Procore allows you to set up the project how you need, other programs set up the project and help to modify the template to the needs of the project.
Procore does more than basic file transfer sites but has an associated cost to be considered.
