Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

For our coworkers, Vasion Print could not have been easier to use. It was so easy to implement and setup. A quick refresh of configurations, and boom a user now has access to all the printers they could need, all managed and done during the deploy of the printer. Vasion Print works very well for both onsite and remote users alike, and it's security features are a great help.

Admin control's for user access is also very easy to use, and it can connect directly to active directory

Usability

I would give it an eight because for almost all users, deploying printers has been so simple. There have been a couple of cases with Vasion Print and MacBooks that sometimes disagree, however, this has been rare and is normal with plotters. There was also a one-off with a Windows user, where they had told us to deploy a new laptop to the user instead of fixing their software. This was done, and the issue still came up. I had to find a way to completely delete the program and all of it's folders myself, without the help of support to fix the Vasion Print error that was coming up.

Likelihood to Recommend

Vasion Print doesn't always like plotters. Plotter drivers are often not always supported, and I often have to resort to legacy plotter drivers like using a T520 driver on a T650, or using a HPLG driver on one that only has Version 4 drivers. Version three works just fine. Customer support has been questionable. I have had both a wonderful experience, and a terrible one, both about plotter drivers funny enough.
