Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

We use Optimizely Content Management System for our website. We did the buildout with an agency vendor and completed phase 1 of our MVP launch August 1. We are now scoping phase 2 to remediate some Search and block issues, as well as additional microsite migrations.

Pros

  • Scheduling content to be published
  • Blocks provide flexibility
  • SEO and tagging options

Cons

  • The blocks have limitations with the vendor build
  • Complications with rolling out to the organization to manage their pages because of complexity
  • Managed workflows
  • Single platform
