Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As an Engineering Manager, I deal Developers, Product Owner, Designers and many other C-level stuff too. I use Miro to guide my team with relevant diagrams to develop a feature, process workflows and design new features. Unfortunately the most relevant diagram components that I need are paid, so I have to improvise sometimes.

Pros

  • Co-working - It is easy for everybody to contribute
  • Working space - It is easy to add more information without the concern if it will fit the page
  • Easy to use - I never find conflicts or bugs when using the components, like if everything works well in any condition

Cons

  • File structure - I miss the folder hierarchy
  • Creating new file - I never know where I am creating a new file and if I decide to delete it, it is not intuive
  • Made communication easier across the teams
  • Lower down mistakes with feature discovery
Very simple. We integrate with Jira and Slack in a very intuitive and easy steps.
Communication is crucial for remote teams and the possibility to have everybody contributing while discussing on a Zoom, without the need to share the screen, is very helpful.
I tried Zoom Whiteboard, which is great, but doesn't have all features Miro has.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Good to design processes Bad to design development (IT) documents, also because the components are paid
