Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for a number of purposes. Sometimes for brainstorming - putting all our ideas in one place, then organizing them in a way that makes sense. Sometimes I use it to help explain to others our vision for a particular feature or product. Sometimes I use it to help plan projects with timelines and milestones.

Pros

  • Miro makes it easy to share ideas and arrange them into logical groups.
  • I like how easy it is to add screenshots or other images to build out visions and roadmaps.
  • I like how easy it is to share the board with others to contribute and collaborate on.
  • It's fairly intuitive. It doesn't take long for someone who has never used it to catch on.

Cons

  • I feel like a nice timeline feature would be helpful. Something where I choose start and end dates, easily add milestones, extended or change dates, etc.
  • My boards sometimes become disorganized. Maybe some suggestions on how to organize the content on my board.
  • Improved collaboration with team members - especially remote workers.
  • Improved efficiency - easily share a new concept, wireframe, drawing with a coworker.
We have several remote employees. Miro makes it easy for us all to share ideas with each other beyond the limitations of a whiteboard on a wall. Remote workers feel more included.
