Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro quite a bit. As a small agency owner, I take sales calls and don't use a slideshow or pitch deck. I open up Miro and use the drawing tool to explain things to the prospect, like price structure, campaign structure, etc. What's also really cool is that I can save the board with the client's name, and then that board becomes the notes and brief I refer back to when building the campaign. I also use it when explaining campaign setup or workflow to staff. I even use it to draw out rough ideas, wireframes, etc. I've tried other tools like Figmas FigJam and even draw.io, but Miro has been the best for me.
Pros
- Simple for simple things.
- Complex for complex things.
- Allows saving and working on different boards.
- Accessible on mobile (handy for me when looking through client notes quickly).
Cons
- Nothing really, even their pricing structure is awesome.
- Streamlined a lot of things like sales calls, call notes, etc. I just do it all in Miro and it's a surprisingly good way to hold attention during meetings and calls. I just name the board something like the client name and whenever I need something I just search for that board.
- Cross-platform functionality means I don't need my computer to access the information on the boards, which is super helpful because I use a desktop, which means if I need some client info, for example, on the go, I can just use my phone.
Yes, if I record a meeting, for example, where I used Miro, I can send over the board along with the recording to someone who missed the meeting. And even send over the board as meeting notes for everyone, including myself.
