Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a Scrum Master, I use Miro for Retrospective with my teams. For post-mortem projects. Brainstorming workshop and alignment session. Even for teambuilding activities.

Pros

  • Provide a rich template library
  • User interface is really intuitive
  • For advance stuff, the Miro Academy training are userfull

Cons

  • The windows Miro client could be a little more stable, and fast
  • The access request process to a board could be streamlined and faster
  • Text box tool could be more flexible for size ajustment
  • Getting people aligned on a common idea/objective through a Miro session is invaluable for us.
  • Negative impact is that sometimes key information is lost or hard to find in a forgotten Miro board.
Miro is our go-to tool for remote collaboration. Other tools exist but they are incomplete and limited.
The addition of AI to Miro boards add value as well.
It does the basic stuff, but it's not as easy to use and missing all the advanced functionalities.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

For remote workers, it is an essential tool, no doubt. It is well-suited for collaboration work, almost of any kind (document creation, brainstorming, etc.)

It's less appropriate as a hub for all your stuff. The boards management (when you have a lot of them) is tedious and limited.
