Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I like to use Miro to show user flows in websites and apps. Since you don't have space constraints like PowerPoint I can showcase the current state as well as potential enhancements.
Pros
- Great for collaborating real time or offline
- Flexible for a variety of UX research and process mapping activities
- Lots of space to be expansive, unlike Powerpoint
Cons
- New users have a hard time figuring out how to share a workspace
- Zooming and navigating takes some getting used to
- Drawing lines between objects can be tricky
- Reduced travel and lodging expenses
- Get workshops done faster - don't need to coordinate travel
- Easy to find projects, not hidden in SharePoint/email/chat
After Covid, my teams are primarily remote. Miro has been excellent in bringing us together without needing to travel. We've even started to use Miro for in-person events to eliminate the need to transcribe the work after the event.
