Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to map out project concepts, build website wireframes, work with design concepts. It is a quick way to visualize ideas, collect feedback across teams/departments and then adjust quickly in a visual way that everybody understands. However, once the project begins, Miro often gets left behind the current status - so it is mainly used for planning.

Pros

  • Quick Visualisation of ideas
  • Sharing with other departments for cross collaboration
  • Collecting Feedback from colleagues

Cons

  • More shape and drawing options
  • More templates for project planning
  • More flexibility with formmating (text and shape)
  • Fast conception of ideas
  • Faster feedback loops
  • More transparency amongst teams
Miro has impacted our organization’s ability to collaborate on new projects. Working cross-department on multiple timezones. all edits are always live, you can see the current status always - whether other people are working live at the same time as you or have worked during another time zone. Lots of transparency for all colleagues

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Great for project concept planning in a visual way for cross-functional teams where visual mapping and collecting feedback is the focus.
Not so great for project management - Trello and Asana are much better for the more detailed task management side of things.
Some features are a little limited, but not in a way that will restrict you from performing your tasks.
