Pros and Cons

Pros

Miro is a great tool for collaboration across roles. Everyone has access to it in the company, so most organizations are familiar with the product. It replaced what we would have done in person previously - allowing us to brainstorm with sticky notes, comment on each other's ideas, upvote, and keep the time of sessions.

Alternatives Considered

Google Jamboard and FigJam

Miro has way better functionality than jam board. FigJam, I haven't used too much yet, but it's comparable. The main downside is product partners are not familiar with it.

Miro is well suited for design reviews so that we can get feedback from stakeholders outside of the design discipline. Miro is great for collaboration in group workshops. Its the best online version of doing it in person.
